Assistant Governor of Hadramout for the Affairs of the Valley and the Desert, Engineer Hisham Al-Saeedi, was briefed on the activities of the Madad Hadramout Center for Research and Strategic Studies and the Political Diwan Program affiliated with the center.
During his meeting with the center’s president, Engineer Abdul Khaliq Al-Haddar, and members of the center and the Political Diwan Program, the Assistant Governor familiarized himself with the center’s objectives, which include studying social, economic, and political issues, as well as its areas of work and its modern and progressive vision in supporting national issues by encouraging scientific and methodological research for a deeper understanding of various societal and state issues. He also learned about the center’s research publications and its activities, which include conducting seminars, workshops, and discussion circles under the supervision of a group of local and international researchers. Additionally, he was briefed on the concept of the recently launched Political Diwan Program, aimed at empowering youth politically and enabling them to contribute to decision-making processes while enhancing their political awareness skills.
Assistant Sa’eedi expressed his pleasure at the meeting, commending the significant role played by the center through its research, analyses, and approaches to events, which enhance understanding and interpretation of events and phenomena based on scientific and professional methodologies. He emphasized the importance of specialized research centers that assist decision-makers in making appropriate decisions based on sound scientific principles. Additionally, he praised the concept and operational directions of the Political Diwan Program, expressing the local authority’s readiness to provide all necessary facilitations to ensure the success of the center’s activities and the implementation of its programs.
