To promote social peace, Hadhramout National Council, in partnership with MIDAD Hadhramout Center for Research and Strategic Studies, is organizing a scientific workshop to protect the social structure and promote stability in Hadhramout.
Under the auspices of Hadhramout National Council, Department of Research, Studies, and Decision Support, in partnership with MIDAD Hadhramout Center for Research and Strategic Studies, held a scientific workshop in Seiyun today entitled: “Building Common Ground to Protect Social Structure and Promote Stability in Hadhramout,” with the participation of a group of researchers, community leaders, and notable figures.
The workshop focused on three main topics. The first two topics dealt with two research papers entitled “An Analytical Study of the Current Social Crisis” by Dr. Sabri Afif and “Challenges to the Stability of Hadhrami Society and Social Peace and Their Implications for the Future” by Abubakar Hassan. The third topic discussed ways to address these issues and build trust between the different components of society.
The workshop attended by Mr. Essam Habrish Al-Kathiri, Deputy Minister of Local Administration and Secretary General of Hadhramout National Council, Mr. Abdulhadi Al-Tamimi, Deputy Governor of Hadhramout for Affairs of Wadi and Desert District, and Assistant Deputy Minister Eng. Hisham Al-Saidi.
