Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadhramout Receives Outcomes of “Al-Balada Session” Workshop and Emphasizes Turning It into a Sustainable Source of Development

Mr. Salim Ahmed Al-Khanbashi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadhramout, has received today the recommendations and outcomes of the workshop “Analyzing Challenges and Exploring Opportunities in Al-Balada Season and Its Role in Strengthening the Local Economy,” organized by Hadhramout Coast Office of the Ministry of Tourism in partnership with MIDAD Hadhramout Center for Research and Strategic Studies.

The Director General of Hadhramaut Coast Tourism Office, Mr. Majdi Bashadi, has reviewed the workshop’s key outcomes, which addressed the current state of Al-Balada season, its economic and tourism significance, and ways to improve organizational and marketing aspects while maximizing the development opportunities associated with it.

The governor praised the efforts made by Hadhramout Coast Tourism Office and MIDAD Hadhramout Center in organizing the workshop, emphasizing the importance of utilizing scientific studies and research to develop Al-Balada season and strengthen its role as a sustainable economic and tourism driver.

The governor also listened to a presentation on MIDAD Hadhramout Center and its role in preparing strategic studies, research, and analytical papers, as well as providing scientific insights and recommendations that help support decision-makers and address development issues in the governorate.
